The Debut Blues Yield Golden Nuggets
It feels like the top of my head has been sawed off and the interactive media gurus at CentreSource have been pumping information into my brain with an air hose.
If you need to launch a blog/website/full-blown social media campaign, contact these brainiacs
Other than information overload, writing blog posts has been (lots of) fun. Waiting for the cable guy, not so much. But I’m GLAD to be waiting for the cable guy because…it’s saving me money.
When I sent out a change of email address notice to the 500 folks in my Outlook contacts and to the few thousand more that I work with on various volunteer projects, my Internet service provider shut me down. When I called to ask why, they told me that no residential customer could possibly know 2,500+ people. Hmmm.
So I inquired about a business account. Imagine my surprise to learn that a business account with faster speeds, unlimited data transfer, and a three-year price lock twas…cheaper than a residential account. Sign me up!
OTHER BIRTHING PAINS:
Email subscription to the blog wasn’t available but now it is (look to the left). So now I’ve learned about MailChimp that will help me tremendously with several volunteer projects as it would also have solved the email blast problem.
If you need to send emails to lots of people, go here.
Perhaps MOST IMPORTANTLY, blog post comments weren’t enabled. But now they are. So talk! PLEASE go back to earlier posts and give me a piece of your mind.

And I’ll send my and Sir Shining’s beef Stroganoff recipe to anyone who subscribes via email.

There will be more changes in the coming days and weeks: We’re playing with fonts and we’ll begin playing with colors once we see what the publisher has in mind for the book’s cover.
In the meantime, there’s always a silver lining.
